The Resolution "On Announcement of Regular Elections of the President of Ukraine" was passed. Elections shall be held on Sunday, 25 October 2009.
The following Laws were adopted in entirety:
"On Amendments to the Law "On the Rates of Excise Duty for Tobacco Goods" (re Extra State Budget Revenue);
"On Amendments to certain Laws of Ukraine concerning Excise Duty";
"On recognizing the Law of Ukraine "On Control over the Payment of Compulsory State Retirement Insurance Fee and Duty for Compulsory Social Insurance" as invalid";
"On Ratification of the Financial Treaty (Project of the Construction of the High-Voltage Air Line 750 kilovolt Rivne APP - Kyiv) between Ukraine and European Investment Bank";
"On Ratification of the Convention of International Labor Organization №184 of the Year 2001 on Safety and Labor Hygiene in Agriculture";
"On Ratification of the Treaty between Ukraine and Slovenia Republic on Interaction and Mutual Protection of Information with Limited Access";
"On Amendments to the Articles of the Treaty with International Monetary Fund";
"On Amendments of Years 1991 and 1993 to the Convention on International Marine Organization of 1948";
"On Amendments to certain Laws of Ukraine (re Promotion of Use of Alternative Energy Sources).
The following Resolutions were adopted:
"On setting up a Temporary Inquiry Panel to investigate circumstances of poisoning Yushchenko Viktor Andriyovych, candidate to the post of the President of Ukraine, determine the reasons and detect the persons guilty of procrastination in the institution of criminal proceedings and transfer of materials to court";
"On Celebration of the 90th Anniversary of Creation of the Young Communist League in Ukraine".
A number of Bill were adopted at the First Reading or forwarded for repeated readings.
